Booking Process
To begin, choose the size and shape of your portrait—whether you prefer square or rectangular. If you're uncertain, I’m happy to help suggest the best option based on your photos. Also, think about where you'd like to hang or display the portrait, as this can influence the size.I’ll double-check all the details with you once you’ve booked.
Reference Photos
To create the perfect portrait, I’ll need a high-quality headshot of your pet. Good lighting is key—natural light by a window or outdoors (but not in direct sunlight) works best. It’s important that I can see your pet’s eyes clearly!I usually work from one main photo, but feel free to send a few to help me capture their personality.If you're unsure about your photos, send them over and I can offer some tips to improve them. Holding a treat near the camera can help get their attention!If your pet is no longer with you, don’t worry—I’ll do my best with the photos you have.Please send original photos, not cropped or screenshot images.
Booking
To get started, simply decide on the size of your portrait and gather your reference photos. Once you’re ready, get in touch, and we can start the process! Please keep in mind that from the moment I receive your order, the completion time for your portrait will typically be 1-2 months. To reserve your spot, a £30 non-refundable deposit is required via bank transfer. This deposit will be deducted from the final cost, and the remaining balance is due once I’ve completed your portrait. Before the final payment, I’ll send you a preview of the drawing, and once you're fully happy with it, the final payment can be made.
